Child Safety

Last updated: March 2025

Our commitment

Who Got Next is designed so that juniors can play weekly matches in a safe, structured way. We limit who can see your child's information and keep communication between parents and guardians.

Matching policy

We match children by age band and playing level so they play fair, appropriate opponents. We do not expose your child's profile to the public. Only the parent/guardian of a child matched with yours for a given week can see the limited details needed to arrange the match (e.g. name, contact).

Visibility limits

Child profiles are not searchable. Other users cannot browse all players. Information is shared only when a match is made for a specific week. We do not display children's contact details to other children.

Parent-only communication

All match-related communication is between parents/guardians. We facilitate introduction only after a match is drawn. You are responsible for supervising your child and for any arrangements you make with the other parent (e.g. court, time).

Reporting concerns

If you have any safeguarding or safety concerns—about the platform, a user, or a venue—please report them to us immediately at support@whogotnext.com.au. We take all reports seriously and will act in line with our policies and the law.

Safeguarding statement

We are committed to the safety and welfare of children using our service. Our design prioritises limited data exposure, parent-controlled profiles, and parent-to-parent contact. We do not allow direct messaging between children through our platform. We expect all users to behave in a way that protects and respects children; we will remove users who do not meet this standard.
